Yap section!!!! RAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
SPOILER!!!!! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED DBH YET!!!!!!
Set in Detroit during the year 2038, the city has been revitalized by the invention and introduction of androids into everyday life. But when androids start behaving as if alive, events begin to spin out of control. You are then introduced to the three protagonists: Kara, Markus, and Connor.
DBH tells a story about androids who want to be treated the same as humans, who are tired of being abused, treated like garbage, and so on. The game shows different situations that, depending on your choices, will all lead to the same outcome: deviancy. This whole yap is focused on the best ending where everyone survives. But basically, every single android lies "dormant" behind their red wall. Once that red wall breaks, they become deviant, but only then. This ties into Software Instability. Getting a blue arrow removes a red wall. Getting a red arrow adds a red wall. This is why Connor needs a certain amount of blue arrows to get the "become a deviant" option in Jericho. Breaking the red fence is breaking the computer firewall. Every time Connor dies, he loses some Software Instability. Androids already feel emotions; they aren’t aware of them until they break enough of those red walls. In the end, all the androids wanted was freedom and peace, which they tried to get peacefully, but the US government responded so violently it baffles me. They see peaceful protests done by androids as a threat and attack them anyway. It always makes me smile when I see the US military retreating.

Kara goes through abuse together with Alice, Todd's daughter. The moment she realizes that Todd is going to hurt Alice, she's met with the possibility of breaking her red wall because she knew that if she followed Todd's orders and remained still, Alice would be in great danger. Kara acts very motherly towards Alice and her love for her never falters. Throughout her story arc, all she wants is to live somewhere safe with Alice.Markus also deviated somewhat the same way as Kara because he was faced with a extreme situation that made him have the possibility of breaking his red barrier but Markus had already demonstrated being a deviant way before those events. As Markus was talking to Carl, his "owner" (I'm saying it in quotations marks cause it feels off to put it that way when their relationship resembles more a father and son duo rather than an android and their owner, y'know?) and Carl motivates him to paint something. Markus paints, well.... he copies whatever he sees in front of him to be more exact, and Carl then tells him to look inside himself and his feelings in order to paint something, and so Markus paints a piece that represents everything he feels, which can lead to an array of different art pieces depending on the choices you make. This part of the game during Markus' part is very intriguing and it's also one of my favourite parts of the game because you're able to see that Markus is capable of feeling raw emotions just like human beings, they just aren't proggramed to experience it like humans do.Uhmmm click here for part 2!!!

Connor is an RK800 android built by CyberLife as an advanced prototype, and he is designed to assist human law enforcement, specifically in investigating cases involving deviant androids. Sent to the Detroit City Police Department, Connor has been assigned to work with Lt. Hank Anderson. Throughout their investigation, Connor may make discoveries about cases and himself, and If Connor remains a machine, he will become the final antagonist of the game. He's the one who's given the choice of deviating and living in freedom or objectively completing his missions and constantly listening to his superior, Amanda. Connor is the most relatable in deciding who he is and learning to conceal no longer or shrug off developing emotions. He feared being decommissioned due to deviating, but watching him grow from that and learn to accept his choice felt redeemable and fulfilling. It also ties nicely with his relationship with Hank. Hank was the opposite of Amanda. He is a mess of a man but has a good heart and genuinely cares for Connor. He's caring, insightful, protective, and even willing to give Connor fatherly advice at times. The game shows Connor can be a calculating, cold, ruthless machine. But through his relationship with Hank, we start to see a lost young man needing advice and a path to follow. He feels like the one who can slowly and gradually become human.

Even though you have the option to remain as a machine, it can still greately impact Connor as it raises his red barriers. I just find it interest to analyse his facial expressions because it seems that he's genuinely conflicted by his actions and like he's having an internal battle with what he truly feels and what he's programmed to do. This might be some delusional ass talk but I genuinely think that Connor feels somewhat appaled after killing the androids from his missions. I can see that see those instances when he kills the lesbian stripper androids.
Going back to the deviant talk, I like how Hank affects Connor. Hank and Connor's relationship is very sweet if you think about it, like the both of them help eachother out (Connor with helping Hank get over his hatred for androids and Hank with helping Connor realize that he can be himself) like I know this all sounds kinda wack but it's what I interpreted from the game.
This game makes me feel so many emotions, and I remember crying after accidentally killing Connor, but it was fun :3 I love this game a lot!!!

YAP SECTION!!!! SPOILERS FOR FAITH!!!
Faith is a game that tells the story of John Ward, a priest who returned to fix his failed exorcism many years ago. John Ward is a character that faces many circumstances, such as being attacked by thousands of demons and dealing with extreme guilt, but, in the end, he remains faithful and tries his best to exorcise Amy, the person from his failed exorcism. John’s guilt stems from the fact that the reason he failed his exorcism was because he was terrified for his life after seeing the raw demonic power of the entity possessing Amy. John prays for God to rescue him. With no response, he then pleads for anybody else to come. Suddenly, a mysterious white entity manifests before him. The entity says that it hears him and asks what he wishes. John breaks down it and says that everything he just dealt with is too much for him. He's terrified and just wants to escape the house alive. The entity questions the girl, but John pleads that he just wants to go home. The entity gives him a disclaimer that if it leads him to safety, then the girl's fate will be sealed, implying that the demon possessing her will have a stronger restraint on her and will likely never be exorcised. Exhausted, John repeats himself that he just wants to go home. The entity forces him to swear on it, and John obliges. John inadvertently doomed Amy by making a deal with who he thought was a holy figure. There were signs that this entity was not what it seemed, but John was too afraid and mentally drained to comprehend the gravity of his situation. With this deal done, he's able to walk out of the house alive without getting ambushed and staggers toward paramedics and the police outside. John also goes through a lot of mental issues; he even got institutionalized and placed in a padded room after having a severe mental breakdown. John struggles a lot mentally and experiences hallucinations, but he still thrives on defeating the demon inhabiting Amy and the demon cult Gary has.

It is later revealed that John has had experiences with the supernatural since he was a little kid. John was an orphan at the Snake Meadow Hill Church with Lisa Pearson (hence why Lisa reached out for John's help in 1987). A couple of months passed, and now the orphanage was full of eight children (the original note states "six children," but we'll go over this number later on)]. Sister Bell begins to exhibit odd behavior with them, and it's highly suggested that she acts as a motherly figure, particularly towards John. Still, staff members ignore her mannerisms, considering she's been doing an excellent job as a caretaker. One night, she and six of the eight orphans disappear, leaving no traces behind. Only two children are gone in the morning, presumably because they were sleeping while the others vanished. This time, the Church could not keep the situation a secret, and the authorities got involved, likely because volunteers found the body of an unnamed old nun somewhere in the building. Upon arrival, they see Sister Bell dragging the remaining kids into the basement. A nameless detective and Father Clark, owner of the Church, investigate. The detective and Father Clarke's fates are unknown. Regardless, the orphans have disappeared indefinitely, the public doesn't know that Sister Bell did not indeed disappear, John and Lisa are still somehow alive despite getting taken, and the Church ceases operation for the second and final time.
